Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to TearLog Premium subscriptions bought on our website. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Billing

• Premium is a recurring subscription, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout, including applicable taxes.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You receive a receipt by e-mail from Paddle for every charge.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders.

2. Cancelling

• You can cancel at any time in Settings → Premium → "Cancel subscription". No reason is needed.
• After cancelling, Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. You are not charged again.
• Your entries, photos and voice notes are not deleted; only adding new ones requires Premium. Your supporter number is kept.

3. Refunds

• If you are not happy with Premium, you can request a full refund within 14 days of any charge (first purchase or renewal). Write to support@rettuz.com or contact Paddle at https://paddle.net with your receipt number. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method by Paddle, usually within 5–10 business days.
• Refund requests made later than 14 days after a charge are handled case by case, for example if the service was unavailable for a significant part of the period.
• When a refund is issued, Premium features are removed immediately.
• Where consumer protection law in your country gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.

4. Subscriptions bought in an app store

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store (when available) are billed by the store. Cancel and request refunds through your store account; the store's refund rules apply.
