Child Safety Policy

1. Age Requirement

TearLog is for users aged 13 and over. Accounts found to belong to someone under 13 are closed and their data deleted.

2. Zero Tolerance

We have zero tolerance for any child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAE/CSAM). When such content is detected the account is closed immediately and the matter is reported to the competent authorities.

3. Preventive Measures

• All uploaded images and videos pass automated safety screening (Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch) before they are published.
• The app has no user-to-user messaging, sharing or contact channel, so there is no surface for adult-to-child contact (grooming).

Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
