1. Description of the Service
TearLog is a private journal for recording the moments you cry. Your entries are visible only to you; the app has no sharing, following, feed or discovery layer.
2. Account
- A valid email address is required to create an account.
- You are responsible for your account's security and the confidentiality of your password.
- You may not use the app if you are under 13.
3. Content and Acceptable Use
- The text you write and the photos/videos you upload belong to you.
- Uploaded images and videos pass through automated screening for illegal or harmful content. This screening does not mean your writing is read; only safety signals are evaluated.
- Do not upload content that belongs to someone else, is unlawful, or infringes third-party rights.
- You are notified when content is removed by automated screening or moderation.
4. Health Notice
TearLog is not a medical product and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or psychological counselling. If you are struggling, please seek support from a professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
5. Suspension
If use in breach of these terms is detected, your account may be warned or suspended.
6. Limitation of Liability
- The service is provided "as is"; uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
- TearLog may modify its features with prior notice.
7. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account from inside the app or at [/account/delete](/account/delete). Deletion is immediate and permanent.
